Kanyadanam is a 1998 Telugu film starring Upendra, Srikanth and Rachana in the lead roles, directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana and produced by Ambica Krishna. The films music was composed by Koti. The film released onJuly 1998 across Andhra Pradesh. Kanyadanam was Upendras debut movie in Telugu. The film explored the soft and romantic side of Upendra, who had gained a much dreaded image after his psychopath performance in his earlier Kannada Telugu blockbuster A.
